Every Easter we use plastic Easter eggs in our egg hunt and in tuff spots but it got me thinking about how else we could use these eggs for everyday play activities and even phonics or maths activities. I’ve created 6 different ways and ideas for you to use these plastic Easter eggs AND I’ve also included free resource pack to go with these activities which you can download below.
Easter Movement Hunt
This activity is so fun and a great idea for Easter Sunday or an Easter Egg hunt! I’ve created 18 Spring/Easter themed movement prompts for your little ones to do. All you need to do is print them off and cut them up and pop one in each egg. Once you’ve done that you can hide your eggs around the house or garden and your little ones can go off and find them. Once they have found them they can open the egg and do the movement it says on the piece of paper inside! Not only is this great fun but it also helps their gross motor skills and more!
